Welcome to ADI.

For over 20 years, ADI has been sending volunteer doctors to provide clinical and allied health services in remote areas of Papua New Guinea and providing education programs to build capacity of rural health workers. ADI is an Australian based, non-Government charity, which receives support from the Australian Government but is also reliant on tax deductible donations to fund its work.

“Health is not merely the absence of disease or illness, but encompasses one’s complete physical, mental and social wellbeing”

ADI is committed to strengthening health systems and supporting rural health workers in some of the most complex and challenging environments in the world. ADI is not only committed to improving health outcomes and infrastructure, but also in creating a sustainable, long-term change via advocacy and education.

ADI is delighted to share with you our 2022/23 Annual Report

2023 has been an outstanding year for ADI in terms of the delivery of clinical services, training and community health education, and strengthening of the PNG health system.

We are grateful for our incredible teams both in Australia and Papua New Guinea for their commitment to their work and their dedication to the ADI vision of achieving a healthier PNG.

To all our subscribers, members, donors, partners, sponsors, and supporters we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you who continue to make our work possible.
